Shireoaks (2007) 36" x 20"

I fancied a change and have been trying to break away from intense detail for some time. Inspired by the photography of Colin Gifford. Shireoaks is near Worksop and the picture is set in the 1960s when this was an industrial area. For sale £190.00.

Ouse Valley (2006) 30" x 20"

From an imaginary viewpoint made up from a lot of photographs. Thanks to Guy Collishaw of Bombardier for making the arrangements and Railway heritage for pictures of the viaduct when it was restored. Not for sale.

A4 (2005) 40" X 32"

After all the detail of Derby Loco, this painting brought some much-needed action. My largest painting to date shows the LNER in its prime with an A4 blasting out of Gas Works Tunnel. For sale, framed £950.00.

Tyseley (2005) 30" x 20"

Inside the roundhouse at Tyseley showing good times on the Great Western. These three locos had been driven by the person who commissioned the painting, which explains why a late numbered "Manor" is there which actually started life with a BR number. Not for sale.

Derby Loco 1973 36" x 24" (2005) For sale £900.00

How I remember Derby Loco Works 8 Shop when I started working on the railway. The picture is built up from a number of my slides and other websites. This picture took two years to finish - but there was a very long gap in that for a comission.

Holbeck (2005) A crosti - boilered 9F in Leeds Holbeck shed.
